UPDATE: I just added the two pictures of me in the black shirt.. they are more recent. (You can tell, my hair is longer) However in the first one I look like I'm kind of out of it; so I took the second one with the hopes that maybe it would make me look like a normal person, but nope! I look like I'm crazy. Oh well. I'm a pretty easy-going guy. I like talking to friends, having fun, and all that stuff. I'm pretty happy in general; I like where my life is going and what I'm doing in school, etc. I'm currently working on an engineering degree. I like being outdoors, and I love camping. I like hiking too although I don't really end up doing it as much as I want to. Maybe I'll meet somebody on here who would want to do that with me. :) I'm somewhat interested in politics. I watch The Daily Show and the Colbert Report every day. I've spent a lot of time on wikipedia reading about places around the world, and I'm especially interested in the middle east and the war in Iraq. I also tend to have more liberal viewpoints on things, although that's probably pretty clear if you've ever seen those shows. :P I love listening to music. My favourite band is definitely Pink Floyd, although I like a lot of different kinds of music. Just to name some random bands I like: Radiohead, The Beatles, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Simon & Garfunkel, Matthew Good, Coldplay, Mike Oldfield, U2, Engineers, and others. Actually, maybe there's not a huge variation in the kinds of music in that list.. but still, I like to think I'd be open-minded about anything else I heard. I don't watch a lot of TV, other then the two shows I mentioned above, although I think "The Office" is really funny. And "Law & Order" is awesome. I also enjoy a good movie every now and then. The best movie I've seen that I can think of off hand is probably The Shawshank Redemption.. although I've seen loads of others that were good too. Apocalypse Now was cool in a weird/crazy sort of way. And I've seen The Matrix and some of the Star Wars movies of course. I could probably list loads more but this isn't really what the site is for I suppose. :P I'm also sort of a computer nerd, but please don't hold that against me. :P I'm not a social recluse though, and I'm generally very friendly and sociable. I like parties and meeting people. (I really am a nerd though :P) I like people who can have intelligent conversation, although that doesn't mean you have to be a genius. What's most important to me in a person is if they treat people well. I don't really like people who are too sarcastic or negative; I want to meet someone who I can be really comfortable with and talk about anything.
